Michael Hahn: "The Ten Mile Shuffle Band sometimes had 12 gigs a week when we played afternoon apres-ski gigs at the Inglenook Lodge and Jay Peak. We had regular gigs at Gentre's, The Bluebird, Phil's Kentton-Sha Lodge, Cafe 25, Wayne's Voodoo Lounge, and others I can't recall. We played a lot of hippie parties and weddings. What a blast! Counter-culture improvisation and artistic expression found a voracious audience. Free love, an 18-year-old drinking age, liveral alcohol-driving laws and a healthy economy guaranteed packed venues in the pre-internet era. We were big-time small-town rock stars, and I have no regrets. TMSB forever!"
